Removing Yourself From A Mass-Scheduled Post

How to remove yourself from a post that has been scheduled on your behalf by admin.

This article is for the folks we refer to at Denim Social as intermediaries; that is, you are likely someone who is working as a loan officer, insurance agent, wealth advisor, etc, and are using the Denim Social platform to manage your social selling program at an individual level while also receiving support from a marketing team.

Part of your marketing team's program may include what we refer to as POBO, also known as posting on behalf of. This is when an administrator schedules posts within Denim Social to be published on the social pages of one or many intermediaries.

If you have noticed there is a mass-scheduled POBO post scheduled to be published to your social networks and you want to stop that post from being published, simply follow the instructions outlined below.

  1. Login to your Denim Social account and navigate to the details page of the post you want to remove from your scheduling queue. In order to do this, select Posts from the left hand menu.

  2. From the Posts view, select the eyeball icon on the post you want to remove yourself from. It should say Show Details when you hover over it.


  3. On the left side of that screen, where the social networks are listed, you should see an ‘X’ next to the social networks you have access to - click this ‘X’ to remove your social networks from that post.

  4. Confirm that you want to remove yourself from the post.

  5. When you have successfully removed yourself from the post you will see the following confirmation message:
