Personalizing Posts Scheduled On Your Behalf

How to edit and personalize a post that was scheduled on your behalf.

On the road to proper social selling, there can be a number of posting strategies stops along the way. For many Denim Social customers, those strategies can look like either a Hybrid (users and Admins post for producer accounts) or purely POBO (posting on behalf of) approach.

If your company is scheduling content on your behalf, there are lots of reasons you may want to adjust a post before it goes live on your network:

  • Adding a phone number or email address

  • Tweaking post language to put something in your own words

  • Mentioning your geographic area so a post better resonates

  • And more!

Note: Posts that have been changed by a user will require approval in the same way your company already requires for user-generated content.

To customize a post that has been scheduled on your behalf, follow the instructions outlined below.

  1. Login to your Denim Social account and navigate to the scheduled post you want to edit and personalize. In order to do this, select Posts from the left hand menu.

  2. From the Posts view, select the eyeball icon on the post you want to personalize. It should say Show Details when you hover over it.


  3. Within the Post Details view there will be a drop down menu on the upper right corner labeled More actions. Select this drop down and click personalize.


  4. This will send you to a Personalization page that looks similar to the Compose page you should be familiar with. Here you can alter the post to your liking. You can add a phone number, change the text, etc. - and then save the post or submit it for approval.
